We are excited to announce the release of our latest Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report. This detailed document showcases our significant achievements from November 2023 to October 2024, as well as describing all our ESG activities and processes.
A key highlight is the validation of our greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). We have committed to reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. Additionally, we have committed that 82% of our Scope 3 suppliers by emissions (covering purchased goods and services, capital goods and business travel) will have science-based targets by 2028. Validation by the SBTi confirms that our targets are in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
Our baseline GHG emissions data have been certified to the ISO 14064-1 standard, providing us with a public benchmark from which to demonstrate improvement over the coming years. We have also implemented a global environmental management system certified to ISO 14001:2015. This underscores our commitment to aligning our operations with the standards of our clients.
These milestones reflect our strong commitment to achieving a sustainable future. We thank all our colleagues involved in our ESG initiatives, particularly those implementing our environmental management system and contributing to the development of our sustainability goals.
