It’s official – Oxford PharmaGenesis is a great place to work on both sides of the Atlantic! At the end of 2018, we won the award in our US office, and today we are proud to announce that we have also received the award in the UK, with 89% of employees rating the company a great place to work. This means we are up there with the top medium-sized companies in this part of the world.
The Great Place to Work® methodology involves sending a detailed questionnaire to every employee. The questionnaire measures a huge range of dimensions, including trust, respect, integrity, pride and enjoyment, as well as work-life balance and reward. It is not based on what the directors think, it is based on what every employee thinks, and every response is anonymized.
“I am so proud of our achievement. I have been here over 20 years and experienced the thrills and spills of our growth. It is a rare company that is able to double in size, win the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and then, within a month of winning this award for the second time, top that off with a Great Place to Work® award.”
Jeanette Costigan, Global HR Director
“I started as a Medical Writer 15 years ago, and I very much appreciated being given the opportunity and support, not only to be excellent for our clients and for the patients who we serve, but also to be excellent for myself and my own career development. I want to make sure that every day every employee has the same opportunities that I have had. I believe that staying independent gives us the best chance of making a difference in the world, and we can only do that by being a team.”
Chris Winchester, CEO
“I came up through the same route. Today Oxford PharmaGenesis is a world-leading, independent HealthScience communications consultancy, and our mission is to help our clients to bring new treatments to patients in areas of unmet medical need. We focus all our energy on this and take care to deliver outstanding service to all our clients, which include nine of the top ten pharmaceutical companies in the world and many leading patient societies. We are not part of a larger group driven purely by financial targets, and we have found that doing things our way not only brings business success and a fast pace of organic growth, but is also immensely satisfying for everyone in the company.”
