Teddy Bears' Tea Party to raise awareness of MPS and related diseases

Monday 15 May was International MPS Awareness Day. Our work relating to mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) and related diseases has made us acutely aware of how debilitating and life-limiting these conditions can be, so to show our support for children and families living with MPS, we held a Teddy Bears’ Tea Party. We chose the teddy bear theme because MPS and related diseases predominantly affect children. Oxford PharmaGenesis employees brought their favourite cuddly toy to the Tea Party and made a small donation before enjoying the cupcakes provided. Across our Oxford, London and Cardiff offices we raised £161.54, which will be donated to the UK branch of the MPS Society.
